A premium multi-trade marketplace connecting homeowners with trusted local professionals through visual proof and high-quality job matching.

How does Proofd help me find a trade?

Proofd lets you explore completed local projects, see real before-and-after photos, and compare trusted trades based on verified work history. You can post a job and receive qualified leads from tradespeople in your area.

Is it free to use Proofd as a homeowner?

Yes. Browsing completed projects, using the quick estimate tool, and posting a job are all free for homeowners. You only connect with trades when you're ready.

How do I know a trade is trustworthy?

Proofd profiles are built around real project evidence — before-and-after photos, verified job history, and homeowner reviews. Trades can also earn identity, business, and insurance verification badges.

Can I get a rough price before contacting a trade?

Yes. The Quick Estimate tool gives you a ballpark cost range for common job types based on size, condition, location, and timeline — before you commit to anything.

What happens after I post a job?

Matched trades will express interest and you can view their profiles, completed work, and ratings. You can message them directly through your homeowner dashboard and request formal quotes.

Can I compare multiple trades for the same job?

Yes. When trades respond to your job post, you can compare their profiles, project history, reviews, and quotes side by side before making a decision.

How do I join Proofd as a trade?

Visit the Trade Dashboard and create your profile. Add your business details, upload completed project photos, and set your service areas. Once your profile is live, you'll start receiving matched leads.

What kind of leads will I receive?

Leads come from homeowners who have posted structured job requests. Each lead includes job details, location, budget range, and urgency — so you can decide quickly whether it's a good fit.

How does lead matching work?

We match leads based on your trade category, service areas, and profile completeness. The better your profile, the more relevant your matches. Each lead includes a fit score to help you prioritise.

Can I send quotes through Proofd?

Yes. The built-in quote builder lets you create itemised quotes with materials, labour, and VAT. Quotes are sent directly to homeowners and can be accepted or declined in their dashboard.

How do verified badges work?

You can apply for identity, business registration, and insurance verification. Verified badges appear on your profile and increase trust with homeowners — leading to higher-quality enquiries.

What subscription plans are available for trades?

We offer a free plan to get started, and a Verified Pro subscription (monthly or annual) for trades who want unlimited leads, priority matching, verified badges, and full access to the platform's tools. There is no pay-per-lead — you keep everything you earn. See the Pricing page for full details.

How does Proofd verify completed projects?

Trades upload before-and-after photos and job details. Projects marked as verified have been reviewed and confirmed by our team. Homeowner reviews add further credibility.

Is my data safe on Proofd?

Yes. Proofd uses industry-standard security practices. Your personal information is never shared with third parties without your consent.

Can I message a trade directly?

Yes. Once a trade has expressed interest in your job, you can message them directly through the platform. All communication is kept in one place for clarity.

What if I have a problem with a trade?

Contact our support team through the Contact page and we'll help resolve the issue. Trades who receive consistent negative feedback are reviewed and may be suspended from the platform.
